Impact Report: 15 Youths Trained in Health, Safety & Environment

The 2023 Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Training gave 15 youths practical instruction in emergency preparedness and response.

Key outcomes:

• 15 youths took part in the programme.

• Participants learnt fire-safety fundamentals through classroom instruction.

• Youths received hands-on practice using fire extinguishers under professional guidance from the State Fire Service.

• The programme included a first-aid session led in partnership with Meniscus Clinic, covering immediate response to injury and essential emergency care.

• Solalina Studios, the State Fire Service, and Meniscus Clinic contributed to a partnership model that connected participants with practical, professional guidance.

The programme strengthened the idea that community resilience grows when people are equipped to respond to emergencies themselves.
