Youth Corps Training Programme

In 2024, Greater Bayelsa partnered with Solalina Studios to deliver a Youth Corps training session for 50 NYSC members at an orientation camp in Bayelsa State.

The session was held in an open-air venue before the full camp programme, creating a practical and engaging learning opportunity for corps members during their service year. By taking the training directly to the camp, Greater Bayelsa met young people where they already were and made capacity building accessible within their existing experience.

The programme expanded Greater Bayelsa’s youth-focused work beyond its home communities and into the wider network of young people serving across Bayelsa State.
