Rural Civic Enlightenment and the Inauguration of Governor Diri

The Governor Diri inauguration documentary records the connection between grassroots civic engagement and a defining moment in Bayelsa’s political history.

Following an extensive statewide rural civic and voter enlightenment campaign, Greater Bayelsa documented the inauguration of Governor Douye Diri and his deputy after their election victory. The film looks back at months of community-level engagement to inform and empower voters, then captures the historic swearing-in that marked the beginning of a new administration.
